Should we protestant Christians be bothered that Catholic have different Bible?

Should we protestant Christians be bothered that Catholic have different Bible?
This is the question that I had to think about during my religion class.

For most of all, I want to acknowledge the fact God has a plan for doing all this. I think people have free-will to interpret the way the Bible is; however, just as there is one God, I believe that there is one Bible containing only truth (if there is one or even possible…). But because Bible is written by human who is fallible b/c of freewill, there may not be a Bible containing truth without any false which our Protestant Bible should not be an exception (I wonder whether we can make distinction of false and truth in the Bible.)

But most of all, Bible is derived from the Hebrew word, ta Biblia, which is a collection of writings. Even the Bible itself is not from one but collection of multiple writings. Essentially, I think God may have given us a life-long process to interpret and accept the Bible in different ways. And different denominations (even religion such as Islam) may have formed during the process. And I think God is slowly leading people into one Bible (although the definition of the Bible already shows that we already have one Bible) accepted by all (or is accepting requires something out of knowledge or study? I would say it might require faith). In the end, God will lead and guide his people into rightful way through using the Bible of any kind (possibly) and any religion for he even uses evil to lead his people into goodness.

Perhaps, just as our God is three in one, the Bible itself may have the most value when it is considered as one in multiple variations not just one version of Bible accepted by multiple denominations. My guess is that this should not affect our faith toward Jesus Christ. In fact, this variations may show the greatness of free-will. Though it is fallible by its definition, it shows how wonderful God’s creation, and when it will be completed through God, I think it will be the one of the most beautiful writings above all, because it is the creation of writings written by or through God and human that show relationship. I think we can remind ourselves of our purpose of living, which is to form relationship with God and glorify him in this world, which Christianity, itself, is about complex relationship between God and human. I may not have the full knowledge or thoughts into this question and containing flaws, I wish it could open some insights and thoughts for people, students, and everyone.

Thank you for reading,
GyeongBae Jeon.

[Book] Problem of Pain - C.S. Lewis

http://allaboutcslewis.com/2013/05/17/the-problem-of-pain/ I pick-up this book while I was working in HaeunDae. It took me a week to read this book, and I read in Korean. The context is complex. But there are few things that I remember about this book. One word to remember from this book is probably the last sentence of the book. It says pain helps to show heroic ability or reveal such quality. Some people may fall into deeper pain, but most of the people end up showing their heroic quality. Pain helps people to strengthen their spirit, but that is not to say that pain is good all the time. Romans 8:16 writes that the pain leads it to show God's glory, but we need to acknowledge some downfall that pain may lead into. Anyway, people learn how to give-up themselves and learn how to give their ego instead of having strong self ego. Lewis knew this. He also talks about how heaven is very important. Its existence determines whether Chri...
